Step 1: Install EB Ajax Search module
- Login to Joomla administrator panel and Go to Extensions -> Manage -> Install
- On the Installation Page, Select the "Upload Package File" Tab, Then Upload Downloaded Zip
Step 2: Go to EB Ajax Search Module
- Go to Extensions -> Modules
Step 3: Module Page
- Search for "EB Ajax Search" in the Search box and click on "EB Ajax Search" module to start editing
- On the Module Edit Page, Select Position for Ajax Search module for display and Change status from Unpublished to Published

Module
- Search in Articles - Configure Yes if you want it to search in Joomla Article. It will search in Article Title, description, and custom fields.
- Article Category - Select one or more Joomla Category. If this field blank then Search in all Joomla categories
- Search in K2 - Configure Yes if you want it to search in K2 Items. It will search in Titles and Descriptions.
- K2 Category - Select one or more K2 Category. If this field blank then Search in all K2 categories
- Search in Hikashop - Configure Yes if you want it to search in Hikashop Product
- Hikashop Category - Select one or more Hikashop Category. If this field blank then Search in all Hikashop categories
- Search in SP Page - Configure Yes if you will search in SP Page Builder
- SP Category - Select one or more SP Category. If this field blank then Search in all SP categories
- Box Label - Configure Text for Search input box Label
- Box Width - Configure input box width in Numeric. This width consider in percentage.
- Placeholder Text - Configure input box Placeholder Text
- Search Button - Configure Yes if you will add Search button with input box. This Search Button use for default Joomla Search Functionality
- Search Button Backgound Color - Configure Search Button Background Color
- Search Button Text Color - Configure Search Button Text Color
- Button Text - Configure Text for Search Button.
- Ordering - Select the Ordering in which you want the article to be displayed in Search Result. Ordering for Search Result like Newest First, Oldest First, Most Popular or Alphabetical.
- Show Title - Configure Yes if you will display Title in Search Result
- Show Description - Configure Yes if you will display Description in Search Result
- Show Image - Configure Yes if you will display Image in Search Result. By default take Intro Image from article and in K2 Item it's take Item image.
- Result Box Style -Configure Search Result Box Style like Flat/3D Shadow Effect
- Result Box Backgound color - Configure Search Result Box Background color
- Result Text color - Configure Search Result Box Text color

- And you're done. Save the module and have a look at the front end!
