Step 1: Install EB Timeline module
- Login to Joomla administrator panel and Go to Extensions -> Manage -> Install
- On the Installation Page, Select the "Upload Package File" Tab, Then Upload Downloaded Zip
Step 2: Open Module Page
- Go to Extensions -> Modules
Step 3: Configure the Module
- Search for "EB Timeline" in the Search box and click on "EB Timeline" module to start editing
- On the Module Edit Page, Select Position for Timeline module for display and Change status from Unpublished to Published

- Configure Page where you want to display EB Timeline Module
Filtering Options
- Limit Articles count - How many items(Articles) you want to display in the Timeline
- Specify Articles source select for Timeline (Categories, Tags)
- Select Date Filtering Type 'Yes' if you want to display Articles within the Date range in Timeline by mentioning start date and end date
- Select Custom Field Filtering Type 'Yes' if you want to display Articles within the particular Article based on Custom Field Value. Filter System added using Custom fields - Supports Checkbox, Radio Button, List(Select)
Ordering Options
- Select the Ordering in which you want the article to be displayed in Timeline
- Ordering Direction By Ascending and Descending
Display Options
- Linked Titles - It will add links on articles
- Show/Hide Article Date, Category, Hits, Author, Tags, Introtext, Read More button
- Configure Date with Date Format
- Configure Introtext with Content Limit
- Show/Hide Intro Or Full Image
Timeline Setting
- Select the Predefined Timeline Styles(Shown on our demo page)
- Select the Timeline Box Effect with Flat and 3D Shadow
- Select The Timeline Stick Color
- Select Timeline Stick Dots Style like Round, Square or Hexagon
- Select The Timeline Stick Text Color
- Select The Timeline Box Text Color
- Select The Timeline Box Background Color
Purchase Key
- Purchase Key - Enter the purchase key to enable auto updates
- And you're done. Save the module and have a look at the front end!
